After years of work, it’s here: Where Demons Reside is now live! To everyone who’s been part of this journey, thank you. I’m beyond excited for you to meet Thomas and Elijah. Now available on Amazon. Are you ready to see what awaits?
It’s hard to believe the day is almost here—Where Demons Reside will be out in just 2 days! There’s so much about this book that I can’t wait for readers to experience. From the dark fantasy world to the complex relationships (especially between Thomas and Elijah), this story holds a piece of my heart. It’s a tale of discovery, bravery, and love in places you’d least expect it, and I hope it resonates with you as deeply as it has with me.
I’ve been daydreaming about my potential NaNoWriMo project for this year, and I think I’m leaning toward … vampires? I know, Halloween’ll be over, but who says spooky season has to end? I mean, we're talking vampires. Who doesn’t love vampires??
Getting Where Demons Reside ready for publishing has been a wild ride—like riding a rollercoaster with a blindfold and no idea where the exit is. After years of wrestling with words, I’m finally unleashing my baby into the world in less than a month—October 31st—and it feels downright surreal.
One of the highlights of this journey has been connecting with fellow authors on social media. It’s like discovering a secret society of fellow word nerds who totally get my obsession with plot twists and character arcs. I’ve gathered so many tips from them to hopefully make my next round of publishing (you know, the one where I decided to dive headfirst into releasing two books at once—what was I thinking?) a biiiit less chaotic.
The journey to get Where Demons Reside into readers’ hands is far from over! While the edits are complete, the whirlwind of marketing has just begun. Early mornings are now dedicated to crafting strategies, reaching out to bloggers, managing social media, and building anticipation. It’s all about creating buzz, and let me tell you—there’s a lot of coffee involved.
From connecting with reviewers to perfecting every insta post, I’m working hard to make sure Where Demons Reside hits the ground running.
Well, look who’s back from a month-and-a-half-long “weekly blog” vacation. It’s funny how you get wrapped up in projects, work, and the general whirlwind of life, and suddenly, you’ve lost track of time. Whoops. But hey, the silver lining is that I’m on the brink of unleashing not one, but two books into the wild—aiming for a double release on October 31st. So, here’s to making up for lost time with (hopefully) a literary bang. Wooooooooo.
I just have to take a moment to express how grateful I am for fluoxetine. After being diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and struggling with some OCD symptoms, I'd tried various therapies and medications over the years, and had basically resigned myself to a life of constant fear. Then, during a routine check-up, my doctor recommended fluoxetine—something I hadn’t tried before.
Even though it’s only been a few weeks, I already feel way more balanced, happier, and like I’ve reclaimed my life. I understand not every medication works for everyone, but I wanted to share, as someone who'd nearly given up on finding relief, there is hope. You don’t have to suffer forever. Sometimes, it’s just a matter of finding the right treatment for you, and exploring different options until you find what works.
Some days, writing feels as essential as breathing or bing-watching a Netflix series while bed-rotting. Today is one of those days.
Once upon a time in Tumblr land, a girl dreaming of becoming an author shamelessly reblogs pics of swoon-worthy K-pop stars—spoiler alert, that girl was me. Now, as I prepare to unleash my first story into the wild, I'm launching a personal blog (apologies to the K-pop stans), where I invite you to join me on this exhilarating journey through writing and publishing.
